Dementia Talks Okotoks Public Library Speaker Series event

  • Okotoks Public Library 7 Riverside Drive Okotoks AB (map)

Learn how Okotoks is becoming one of Alberta’s first Dementia Friendly Communities. A Dementia Friendly Community supports those living with dementia, and their caregivers, by building community capacity to support individuals to age-in-place and reduce stigma associated with dementia. Join experts from the Dementia Friendly Community project as they share milestones in the project and address other dementia-related topics. This is the first in a series of talks facilitated by The Brenda Strafford Foundation.

Free event. Contact Jennifer (Dementia Friendly Communities Coordinator) at 403 995 6809 for more information about Dementia Friendly Communities in Okotoks.
