THE OPEN ORCHESTRA: A SENSORY FRIENDLY CONCERT

  • Jack Singer Concert Hall 205 8 Avenue Southeast Calgary, AB, T2G 0K9 Canada (map)

Join us for the CPO’s first Relaxed Performance, a fun concert directed by Associate Conductor Karl Hirzer, featuring some of classical music’s best loved pieces thoughtfully chosen to be engaging and accessible for everyone.

In partnership with Inside Out Theatre’s Good Host Program, this special sensory friendly performance is designed to welcome audience members who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, including those with sensory concerns, autism spectrum disorders, learning disorders, dementia, parents with small babies, or anyone for whom the regular concert-going experience can be challenging. Most importantly, everyone is welcome. If you need to make some noise, move around a bit, leave the concert hall and take a break in the chill room, you are welcome to.

For special seating requests, including wheelchair seating, please call the Box Office at 403.571.0849 for personalized service.
