Dr. Goodarzi is an Associate Professor of Geriatrics within the Department of Medicine and Department of Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. She is Division Head for Geriatric Medicine, Medical Lead for Specialized Geriatric Services and Transition Services and Program Director for Leaders in Medicine.

At the event we will explore how to tell the difference between normal aging and early signs of dementia, highlight key risk factors, and share everyday ways to support brain health.

Dr. Goodarzi will also offer guidance on managing the early challenges of a diagnosis, helping individuals and families feel informed, equipped, and reassured.
