Calgarians vote for their mayor and councillors on October 20th. Election season is an opportunity for you to inform and educate candidates about local issues that matter to seniors, to people living with dementia, and to care partners.
Dementia Network Calgary has created resources and compiled information to help you raise awareness of dementia as a critical issue for our community.

Important Information for Voters
Elections Calgary has created a printable Voter Guide with details on advance voting, mail-in voting, and voting locations (including a full list of care facilities that host voting stations for their residents).

Accessibility tips for voters
- Advance voting takes place October 6-11. You can cast your vote at any voting station during this time.
- Calgary Transit Access customers can pre-book trips to vote at their designated station. Call 403-537-7777 (must be requested at least 4 days in advance).
- You can bring a helper to the voting station to help you vote. Election workers can also help you mark your ballot. You can even request a curbside vote.
- Each voting station provides signage about the languages spoken by election workers onsite.
